Inspired by Christ's invitation and promise in John 8:12, this bronze bas-relief medallion honors the words: "Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

The design comes from the first statue of Jesus Christ Angela Johnson ever sculpted. Through that process, she sought to portray the Savior's divine strength, humility, compassion, intelligence, mercy, and love. The 1.75-inch medallion carries His portrait on the front, framed by rays of light, with the scripture inscribed on the reverse.
